What does a financial adviser do?

A good financial adviser understands your financial situation, helps you set realistic goals, and recommends a plan to achieve them. Your goal could be anything, such as saving for a holiday, investing for the future, retiring from work or creating a legacy for your children.

In the complex world of finance, a financial adviser can act as a guide or a coach to help you navigate options and make the right financial decisions. This way, you can sleep better at night, knowing that you are on track to achieving whatever you want financially.

Think of Google Maps as an analogy. Google Maps tells you your exact location, and when you set your destination, it guides you step by step to it. Sometimes, you may miss a turn, but the app recalculates the route and brings you back on track. Financial advisers can do the same with your financial goals.
